Happy Independence Day - 250 Years of America

Two hundred and fifty years ago, on the Fourth of July 1776, the United States of America declared its independence - a watershed moment in world history. The principles enshrined in the Declaration of Independence - the inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - remain as vital today as they were 250 years ago.

On this historic day, we join the American people in its celebration and are grateful for the enduring friendship between our nations. The partnership between Liechtenstein and the United States is built on the strong ties between our peoples and a deep commitment to free societies and open economic exchange. Our bonds are strengthened every day through our cooperation in business, academia, culture, and beyond.
