US-Liechtenstein Relations Enter New Era with the First Strategic and Economic Partnership Dialogue Between Both Countries

On October 22 and 23, 2024, the United States and Liechtenstein launched the inaugural US-Liechtenstein Strategic and Economic Partnership Dialogue in Washington, D.C. U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell and Liechtenstein’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dominique Hasler, headed their respective delegations, marking a new chapter in the strong partnership between the two countries. This Dialogue establishes a standing platform to advance strategic cooperation on key issues, including trade and investment, as well as security. Reflecting Liechtenstein’s and the United States’ shared commitment to freedom, democracy, and the rule of law, the Dialogue serves as a forum for close cooperation in addressing both regional and global strategic challenges.
