Forbes Magazine Names Steg One of the Most Beautiful Villages

Forbes has recently curated a list of the world’s 50 most beautiful villages in 2025 – and Liechtenstein’s mountain village Steg was awarded the 14th rank. Steg is a small village, tucked into an alpine valley at 1300 m above sea level. Besides its ideal location for hiking, Steg is famous for its lake Gänglesee and its 12km long trails, a popular destination for all cross-country skiing fans.
