Happy Holidays from the Embassy of Liechtenstein

2020 has certainly been quite a year. We cannot be more thankful for the first responders and all those on the front lines who have risked their lives in the US and around the world in facing this pandemic. Though many of us continue to shelter in place to one degree or another, we remain hopeful and look forward to coming out on the other side of this pandemic so that we can all do even more to help those who have lost so much.

This time of year is about family. Our hearts will be not only with our relatives, friends and colleagues with whom we are facing this together, but also our global family to whom we are vastly interconnected. Only together as an international community can we put this pandemic in the past.

Though we can't be with many of our loved ones this time of year, making the food that we all know and love allows us to feel the warmth of their presence. For us it will be some Stewed Venison with Käseknöpfle and Lemon Angel Cookies. And a tasty hot drink doesn't hurt either, especially for small, outdoor and socially-distanced gatherings.

From all of us at the Embassy of Liechtenstein, we wish you a warm and comforting holiday season and a bright and healing New Year.
